How did Godwin Obaseki enter UI with three credits?

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate of the APC candidate, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has been found.

He had only three credit passes. He did not have a credit pass in English language or Economics.

Nigerians and particularly Edo people have started to ask questions about how he got admission into University of Ibadan when he did not pass English.

It is even more curious how someone who did not have a credit pass in Economics to become the Head of Economic Team of Adams Oshiomhole government.

The Secretary General of an Ikeja-based leadership non governmental organisation, Centre for Patriotic Leadership Initiative (CPLI), Saintmoses Eromosele, Esq. expressed shock at the weird fact that Mr Obaseki did not have the requisite qualification to be admitted into a university yet he became the Head of Economic Team in Edo state.

“This is preposterous. How could such a man become the head of the economy of a state? We will apply for a query in how he became a student of classical studies in the first place” Mr Eromosele queried.

Notable Edo civil society persons gave started to raise questions about how Obaseki gained admission into the university when he did not have the prerequisite.

Fiery Nigerian lawyer, policy analyst and Managing Partner, Ogbegie and Associates, a legal firm in Benin city, Daniel Ogbegie, Esq. said that he was in shock that the APC candidate did not have the basic qualification to govern Edo state.

“I am shocked that somebody that had been chairman of Adams Oshiomhole economic team did not have even a credit pass in economics. That is why the economy, sports and every sector of the Edo economy has failed.” Daniel Ogbegie said.
