A NOTE OF REASSURANCE TO THE PEOPLE OF EDO STATE – THIS ELECTION CANNOT BE RIGGED

It has come to our notice that the outgoing government has been holding several meetings and trainings with electoral staffs coaching them on how to manipulate the ballot papers, invalidate votes, create situations that will precipitate the cancellation of election and ultimately rig the election in the state.

We are aware that many staff of INEC have been compromised. We have enough hard evidence. But we wish to warn that whoever  that allows her or himself to be used to obstruct a moving train, should be ready to be part of the track for the train,  because the wrath of the willing and united people will definitely crush you.

We wish to sound a note of warning to all and sundry, particularly to the INEC and all security agencies, that any attempt, group of attempts or attempted attempt to rig the Edo2016 election would be resisted by the people,  the extent of which resistance have not been previously contemplated.

This election cannot be manipulated. It cannot be rigged. The voice of the people shall not be silenced. There is no army in the world that can resist a people who are willing and united. The Edo people are willing and united in this cause to change this insensitive, visionless, very corrupt,  clannish and failed government.

We call on all eligible voters in Edo state to come out enmass and vote for PDP. We shall defend your votes and no weapon formed against you in this election shall prosper.
