Sansa is worried about Littlefinger on the season seven
Game Of Thrones has proved its still the biggest show on the planet, after obliterating HBO’s US viewing records with the season seven premiere.
The show returned with an enormous splash on Sunday night (July 16), pulling in an incredible 16.1 million viewers in the US across HBO’s platforms (including repeats, streaming and DVR).
Considering last year’s season six premiere drew around 10.7 million when taking into account the above, it’s a pretty alarming success.
Cersei is in trouble in the season seven premiere
According to Entertainment Weekly, when only taking into account TV viewers who tuned in on the initial Sunday night airing – 10.1 million people tuned into the show, an increase over the previous show’s most-watched episode The Wind Of Winter with 8.9 million in June 2016.
So what does this mean? Game Of Thrones is more popular than ever, in a nutshell.
