Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Greenville, N.C., for a campaign event this afternoon, and former president Donald Trump plans to hold a rally in Prescott Valley, Ariz. The two vice-presidential candidates, JD Vance and Tim Walz, had back-to-back appearances on “Fox News Sunday.” President Joe Biden will visit the Tampa area to survey damage from Hurricane Milton, while former president Bill Clinton will campaign for Harris in Georgia on Sunday and Monday.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, pushed back on Republicans’ frequent comments that the Democratic ticket favors socialism.
“Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream resurfaced Walz’s previous comment that “one person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”
“I believe capitalism works in [that] it lifts everyone up. But I also believe you have to make sure that there’s things that we collectively do together,” Walz said Sunday. “We educate our children by using our public schools. We build roads. We do some of the things like public health where we work together.”
